Aims and objectives
We aim to provide a flexible, efficient, value for money quality care service.
Nanrud Care principal objective is to provide timely care which is compassionate, competent, and commitment to those who wish to stay in their own homes, enabling them to be as independent as possible.
Nanrud Care will ensure that the service provided complies with the requirements of The Health and Social Care Act 2008, Regulated Activities, CQC Standards which are Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led, Regulations 2014 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and Fundamental Standards
Services we provide.
Nanrud Care provides a list of care and interventions listed below:
The above services will be provided by the Carer at agreed times with the service user. The length of visit depends on the service user needs and requirements, this could be one hour per day, up to twenty-four hours, seven days a week inclusive of weekends and bank holidays.
Listed below are the services which Nanrud Care DO NOT PROVIDE
A full discussion of these will be undertaken during the needs and risk assessment. The Risk Assessment will be undertaken by the Registered Manager.

Nanrud Care is a British -based Limited Company formulated through a desire to provide compassionate care to elderly within our communities enabling them to enjoy life at home.
Registered Manager/ Director
The Registered Manager, Rudo Muzembi is a qualified Registered Nurse with 19 years’ experience in various aspects of nursing. She holds 2 nursing degrees, diploma in Leadership and Management and many various achievements.
Nominated Individual /Director
Nancy Gould holds levels 3 NVQ with City Guilds and has an enrolled to study Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. Nancy has many years of experience in care including live-in -Care.

Policies and Procedures
Medications
Our caregivers will prompt or remind clients to take medications if this is in their care plan. If the client is assessed as required
Our caregivers will administer medications if indicated in care the plan.
Our caregiver can assist with applying moisturising cream if requested by the client.
Our caregiver who are medication trained can administer eye drops, ear drops and nose drops.
Confidentiality
Financial Gifts
Our caregiver will not receive financial gifts or carry out any financial transactions on behalf of the client unless if it is part of their identified care need.
Care charges
The hourly rate will be agreed according to the service user/client’s needs. This will be agreed and signed by both parties in advance of any services being provided.
Bank holidays will be charged time and a half, this applies to Saturday and Sunday.
Accommodation and Meals
If our caregiver must be with the client for a minimum of six hours continuous shift, clients are kindly requested to allow them to use their kitchen facilities to make food preparations.
Payments
All payment will be agreed by both parties whether they should be weekly or monthly, this will be discussed on the day of assessment and signing of contract.
Late payments penalties
Payments are expected within 10 days of the date of invoice, failure to do so an interest on outstanding balance will be charged at a rate of 1.3% per week and 1.5% per monthly for monthly payments.
Cancellation
Clients can suspend one off visits for any reason or the entire service by notifying Nanrud via email or telephone in accordance with the Service agreement.
Nanrud Care reserves the right to withdraw all services provided when caregivers are subjected to intimidation, violence, and threats. Nanrud has the ultimate responsibility to safeguard the health and safety of their employees.
